If you use Teapplix provided USPS account, we may have computed USPS additional charges report incorrectly since Jan 2026 and over charged you. This applies to customers who are on Pitney Bowes powered labels since last Septmber.
What happens is that USPS started charging a new fee, called 'Non-Compliance Fee', this applies when you did not declare dimensions above threshold in the original print.
When that happens, USPS will charge you a $1.50 fee, on top of any other fees to correct for weight + dimensions.
Teapplix did not understand this in the processing logic, and may have double charged you the weight + dimension extra instead. This resulted in your meter being deducted too much.
In addition, Teapplix sometimes did not apply cubic in the additional charge processing, due to USPS rule changes. This may also result in Teapplix charging you more than what needs to be.
We have corrected the logic in our processing, so we charge you the correct amount based on USPS surcharges. Your old APV records are being corrected and your meter adjusted. This should finish this week.
On your part please make sure you declare all correct dimension and weights, especially if your dimension exceed normal USPS limits. Otherwise you are basically charged a penalty.
