Contract Marketing Communications Pro

Teapplix seeks a marketing and communications pro to contract part-time, and to help our team advance our lead generation and revenue objectives.

Teapplix is a well-funded, post-revenue SaaS start-up that automates, organizes and manages shipping and fulfillment for small and medium-size businesses operating on the eBay and Amazon commerce platforms. Our web application makes shipping and fulfillment faster, easier and less expensive than the alternatives, saving small business owners time, energy and money.

Ideal candidates should be familiar with:

1. The e-commerce space in general; and
2. Small and medium size e-commerce merchants operating on eBay & Amazon.

Required skills:

1. At least five years experience executing a wide variety of marketing and communications tactics designed to generate qualified leads that turn into sales.
2. Excellent writing abilities, including website copy, email newsletters, PPC campaign ads, blog posts, tweets on Twitter and general business correspondence.
3. Experience with a full range of marketing tactics designed to generate leads, including email marketing, small events management, social marketing using Web 2.0 communications channels (i.e., blogs, Twitter, social networks, etc.), PPC campaigns, and other lead generation marketing tactics.
4. Experience marketing for or to merchants operating within the eBay and Amazon commerce platforms.
5. A track record of demonstrable results, a metrics-driven work ethic and experience marketing to small and medium-size businesses.
6. Strong customer service orientation who can work collegially within an engineering-driven work environment.
