Duplicate USPS Tracking Number Issues

We recently saw issues regarding duplicate USPS tracking numbers. In this particular case our customer was using Stamps.com so we contacted Stamps.com and here is their response:

What we have observed recently from the USPS website is USPS has not been scrubbing out old tracking information from their tracking events page. Once the USPS receives our daily report of available tracking numbers we issued from the tracking number pool, the USPS website then updates that webpage to reflect current tracking event information.

Please note that tracking numbers older than 6 months are recycled and are made available for use by the USPS.

We are actively reaching out to the USPS to inform and make them aware of this behavior and how it's impacting customers. We'll be sure to follow-up with additional information as it becomes available.

We will update this post accordingly.

Support for USPS Consolidators

Teapplix has released support for "USPS Consolidators" that handle international shipping.

You will generate your labels for international orders via your Endicia account using the USPS button. The label has no postage, but is good for companies like Globegistics etc.

To turn on this mode:

 1. You need to have your Endicia account enabled for the consolidator account
 2. In Teapplix "Setup => Shipping", make sure your USPS Provider is set to "Endicia", and then checkbox the "USPS Consolidators" checkbox.
 3. Save the page

Once you save, you will see that for international orders, you have 3 additional shipping methods:

 1. Intl. Priority Mail M-Bags
 2. Intl. Surface Air Lift M-Bags
 3. Generic Intl. Consolidator

You can select these shipping methods, put in any weight, and press 'USPS' button to generate the shipping labels needed for the consolidators.

Changes to Amazon Integration Logic

We have updated our Amazon MWS API integration logic:

 • Merchant fulfilled orders marked as shipped on Amazon will be imported or updated as shipped in Teapplix
 • Merchant fulfilled orders marked as cancelled on Amazon will be marked as cancelled in Teapplix

Note that the above update may have delays and may not be instantaneous. Some orders may initially import as open orders, and later be marked as shipped in Teapplix. There is a "Sync Orders Now" button in Teapplix, if you want to make sure all existing orders in Teapplix are updated to the right status, please press "Sync Orders Now" and make sure it completes without failure before processing your orders.

Segregating Drop Ship Orders

Teapplix can now help you segregate dropship orders from multiple sellers.

When importing, you can ask your seller to include "QueueID" column in the file they pass you, orders will import to that specific queue.

When producing ship confirmation reports, you can pick a specific Queue to generate the file that corresponds to a specific seller.

Purchase Order CSVs

If you select a list of orders in Teapplix, and you are wondering how many inventory items are needed to fill this list of orders, you can find out by pressing "Generate Purchase Order CSV" button in the dropship form.

In the "DropShip Template" drop down, select Purchase Order => Everything, and the click the button. You will get a CSV that list all the SKUs and the quantities needed to fill the selected listed orders.

What's more, if you have Teapplix InventoryAdvisor®, you can also generate a purchase order csv for all "short inventory". The CSV differs from the full purchase order above, by looking at your current quantity on hand and only list inventories if you are short, and the quantity is what's needed to make up the shortage.

Support for Amazon Europe and Amazon Canada

We have released support for Amazon Europe (UK, FR, DE, IT, ES) as well as Amazon Canada.

Teapplix will automatically import orders from those Amazon accounts, and confirm orders as shipped once shipped in Teapplix.

Seller SKU as Item Name

As part of this change, we have now hard-wired to the option to use "Seller SKU" as item name. Existing customers will be able to continue with their current option, however, newer accounts will always import Seller SKU as item name. This option is better for inventory management.

Also, for each Teapplix account, you can link one amazon account per country, but not more.

QuickBooks Integration

International Amazon orders will export to your QuickBooks in the currency linked to by the Account and "Customer" record associated with the Amazon International Marketplace. The currency for these two must match:

 • If you let Teapplix create one customer per order, the customer for the international Amazon order will be created under local currency (GBP, Canadian Dollar, or Euro). The account these orders deposit to must also be in local currency. For this option to work, you must turn on multi-currency in your QuickBooks.
 • If you choose "one customer per marketplace", the "customer" and "account" associated with the Amazon international marketplace must match

Note that there is a current issue with QuickBooks that prevents automatic order export with 3 different currencies. We are still working with Intuit to resolve that. If you need to make that work, you must select the second option above, and export the third Amazon country into US currency.

InventoryAdvisor® PickList Enhancements

If you turned on our InventoryAdvisor® product, you will notice some recent enhancements in our "PickLists". We have added 2 columns: "Quantity Available" and "Quantity Short".

Quantity Available is what you have on hand, not shipped out. This number will display if you entered your inventory quantity from our "Quantities" page.

Quantity Short will be displayed if your Quantity Available isn't enough to cover the orders in the batch.

These 2 columns give you an immediate view of what your stock level is in relation to your order. You can spot potential issues with fulfillment before generating shipping labels.

InventoryAdvisor® is a Teapplix optional subscription component that helps you track & manage inventory levels across multiple marketplaces. More information can be found in Advanced InventoryAdvisor® Help.

The PickList changes will only be visible if you turned on InventoryAdvisor®. If you have customized your PickList previously, you must "revert back to factory default" on the PickList.cs template under Setup => Packing Lists => Advanced.
