Ship Notification Email
Teapplix ActionShip sends a ship notification email to your buyer after you ship an order. The email is sent 1-2 hours after the orders is marked as shipped, to give you a chance to drop off your package and activate the tracking number.
You can customize the the text of the email. ActionShip also sends the item purchased and a tracking link.
Amazon & Buy.com Excluded
We don't send emails to Amazon & Buy.com buyers. This include RMA orders with "amazon and buy.com" proxy email addresses.
How to turn on the Notification Email
- Navigate to Settings => Ship Notification Email
- Select the Shipping Profile to use
- Select the "Turn on Ship Notification Email" checkbox
- Enter the From Email Address and Merchant Name
There are two options with email server. If you choose to use Teapplix email server, the emails will be sent from Teapplix server with your from address. make sure to add the following to your email server configuration. It will give Teapplix access to your email address.
"v=spf1 include: spf.protection.outlook.com ip4: 208.67.186.70 ~all"
If you choose to use your own email server, please enter correct SMTP Host, Port, and login credentials. Teapplix uses TLS protocols. If your email server use different port for TLS vs. SSL, make sure to enter the corresponding port number.
